The Forlorn Dolls official website is currently under heavy, and I mean HEAVY construction and will be down for the rest of the week for a major overhaul and revamping project. It's a whole new look and feel that has been in the works for the past year now. If you are a Facebook follower than you have had small peaks of the look already.
A new and improved gallery will be added, a media section, a page just for events to keep everyone posted for shows and meet & greets with the Forlorn Dolls creator... that would be me of course. And also a virtual store will be added for shopping convenience.
Also, a few new things to share. I have recently learned that Forlorn Dolls has now become part of the eBay selling crew PFATT, (Primitive Folk Art Talk & Tea, pfatt.blogspot.com). I hope to begin listing dolls by the end of the week with the launch of the revamped Forlorn site.
As well, I have two shows coming up in the fall. Halloween themed of course on a very skeleton level! I will be adding to my Paint You Face for the Dead, Dia de los Muertos and Hallowed Gathering collections. I will also be introducing a brand new collection: The ABCs of Potions, Poisons & Elixirs, a collection of twenty-six skeleton-themed bottle dolls.
I am hoping to work in the zombie dolls, but they may not find their way into fruition until Christmas. There is just so much to be done in the next few months for October already. Wow! I feel the pressure already.
